chapters
Life is like a book with many chapters. Some chapters tell stories of love, drama, comedy,
mystery, loss, growth, disappointment, etc.
Some chapters are dull and ordinary, others intense and exciting. The key to enduring, persevering, and being hopeful is to never stop on a book or a chapter that seems too long or difficult. Some chapters may be sweet but too short. Your words, thoughts, actions, and choices are the pens that write the pages in your book.
Have the courage to keep turning the pages and believing that better chapters lie ahead. Trust. Listen. Believe. Be creative. Be kind. Be patient. Be grateful.

*you cant start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading the last one*

be happy, be kind
*while buying a coffee, the man at the store gave me a carnation for no reason.
*a mysterious person dropped off a gingerbread man at my house for me while i was napping. they didnt leave a name.
when someone performs an act of kindness it releases serotonin in your brain. (serotonin has tremendous health benefits, including making us feel more blissful). selflessly helping someone is a super powerful way to feel good inside. what’s even cooler about this kindness kick is that not only will you feel better, but people watching the act of kindness will also get a jolt of serotonin. how extraordinary is that? the job of most anti-depressants is to release more serotonin.
